The American Bolero Dance Company has enjoyed raves from both the press and audiences world-wide for performances of a variety of Spanish dance styles including flamenco, zarzuela, classical and bolero.

The American Bolero Dance Company was founded by Gabriela Granados in 1996. The company explores the rhythmic intricacies and song literature of Flamenco, the refined and stylized repertory of Clásico Español and the traditions of the Escuela Bolera, with the flair and electricity of Broadway productions.

Gabriela Granados started her dance training at the age of four, studying a wide range of classical and regional Spanish dances as well as Flamenco, classical Ballet and Latin American folklore. In 1985, her professional studies took her to Spain, where she performed in three of Madrid's most famous Tablaos Flamencos: Los Canasteros, Las Brujas and Zambra. She has also performed in full-length ballets such as: The Nutcracker, Giselle, Les Sylphides, Carmen, and Pugni's Grand Pas de Quatre, among others.
